Learn Haitian Creole in Manchester CT Area
About 8.5 million people in Haiti speak Haitian Creole. Essentially everyone in Haiti speaks Haitian Creole, while about 10% of Haitians speak French.
Haitian Creole is spoken in Haiti, and in the numerous Haitian communities in the Caribean, Norwich CT and South Florida
Haitian Creole is has taken most of its words from French. If you know French you will recognize the vast majority of Haitian Creole words, but speaking French will not be enough for you to communicate with the vast majority of Haitians.
Haitian Creole grammar is not at all like French grammar.
Haitian Creole and French are not mutually comprehensible.
Haitian Creole is not the same as Louisiana Creole, other creoles or Cajun French.
